This fully functional restored Royal Model S Standard sized typewriter is a fine example of the 1930 era typewriter equipment. The Model 10-S has a four blade tab system with a red, black, and stencil ribbon selection feature. A manual blade tab system generally has a few options for tab stops to be set along the writing line and must be manually placed at the stop position desired. Later equipment have fully tabbed racks which allows many multiple tab stops to be set along the entire writing line.

This single clear glass side Royal circa 1934 is in excellent condition with all factory features fully functional as when manufactured. This Royal Model 10-S has auto and manual ribbon reverse features, line lock for end of typing line with bell warning about three to five spaces before keyboard lock. The margin release can be used to add one or two letters to complete a word if desired. This machine has Elite type, 12 letters to the inch.
